Privacy policy

Updated October 9, 2026

ChezNous is published by Dovixon, a software engineering company based in Ouagadougou (Burkina Faso). This page explains, simply, what happens to what you enter in the app.

What we collect

Why

To make the app work: sync the household between its members, send notifications, answer through Ni die, and protect accounts. We show no ads, we do not sell your data and we do not track you across apps.

Who sees what

Ni die, the smart assistant

When you speak or write to Ni die, your message and a summary of your household’s figures are sent to an artificial-intelligence provider (currently Google Gemini) to produce the answer. They are used only to answer. Voice dictation uses your phone’s speech recognition service.

You do not have to use Ni die: the assistant is an option you turn on in the settings.

Where your data lives

How long

Your data is kept as long as your account is active. If you ask for deletion, we delete your account and personal data within 30 days (see “Delete my account”). Expenses you entered in a household stay visible to that household’s other members, unlinked from your profile.

Your rights

You can ask for access to your data, its correction, deletion or export. In the app, “Export all data” produces a PDF or Excel file. For anything else, write to adama@dovixon.com, or contact Dovixon on +226 71 80 09 39.

Children

ChezNous is for adults running a household. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16.

Changes

If this policy changes significantly, we will tell you in the app before it takes effect.

Working text, to be reviewed by a lawyer before publication (publisher identity and address, applicable law, retention periods).
